NIFHA has attended an interesting and informative event at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, kick-starting the council’s work on a new Development Plan.
The ‘Planning Our Place” event at Mossley Mill saw the launch of commencement of work on the Local Development Plan for the Borough, which will guide development up to the year 2030.
The Mayor, Councillor Thomas Hogg, welcomed many key partners to the event and the council’s Chief Executive and planning staff gave detailed information on the Plan and the consultation process.
Attendees, including NIFHA’s Chief Executive Cameron Watt, were given the opportunity to engage with the speakers and discuss key strategic planning issues.
