Chris Williamson addresses NI Housing Conference

The Chief Executive of NIFHA, Chris Williamson, recently addressed delegates at the 2010 NI Housing Conference in the Stormont Hotel, Belfast.In his presentation Chris spoke on 'Creating Balanced Communities: Key Planning Issues for Housing'.
He examined the relevant strategies which include: Sustainable Development Strategy, Regional Development Strategy, Regional Transport Strategy, Economic Development Strategy, Investing for Health and Shared Future.
One area which drew to delegates' attention is the potential opportunity provided through Developer Contributions.
