Ark wins again!

Ark Housing Association has won the coveted British Safety Council award for a second year running.This prestigious international award, from one of the world’s leading health and safety training, advisory and audit bodies, is only awarded following rigorous assessment by an independent adjudication panel.
In achieving such a coveted award Ark Housing had to demonstrate it has in place comprehensive health and safety policies, targeted plans and a clear commitment to health and safety from the shop floor to the boardroom.
Ark Housing’s Business Services Manager, Vincent Lavery states, “We are absolutely delighted to win this award for a second time. This demonstrates once more our commitment to Health and Safety at all levels of the organisation. This is an important award for us and we use our continued membership of the BSC to improve our already extremely high standards. It is gratifying to note also others are now following our lead and may I take this opportunity to congratulate them. Hopefully more Associations will see from our example and continued success it really does pay dividends to be proactive and professional where Health and Safety is concerned. Finally may I thank all the staff and the Board Of Management for their help and ownership.”
