Wesley's Palmerston Road opens

Wesley Housing Association was proud to announce the official opening of their new state of the art Residential /EMI Care Home on 23rd April 2010.This beautiful, purpose built care provision is located on the Palmerston Road, East Belfast with a 38 bed facility incorporating 20 dementia beds and 18 residential beds for the frail elderly, dementia care, physical disability and sensory impairment persons unable to live independently.
Palmerston Residential /EMI Home has a vast array of amenities and is a testament to our commitment to high quality care as well as our pursuit of innovation to meet current and future care needs.

The Association’s Chief Executive, Beverley Surgenor welcomed this latest development and commented; “this vital new scheme provides high quality care and accommodation for the most vulnerable persons in our society and Wesley Housing Association is proud to contribute to the on-going solutions for dementia care requirementsin Northern Ireland”.

Wesley Housing Association (WHA) was founded in 1947, under the name of North Belfast Mission Housing Society, by a group of Methodist clergymen. The organisation evolved into an Independent Registered Housing Association providing care and accommodation for the elderly, at locations across Northern Ireland. The Association changed its name to Wesley HA in 2003.
Wesley Housing Association operates as a registered housing association and has charitable status. It is a housing association registered with the Department for Social Development and is also a member of the Northern Ireland Federation of Housing Associations.
