MP VISITS NEW HOUSING SCHEME

ON MONDAY 5 JULY TRINITY HOUSING WAS DELIGHTED TO BE JOINED BY MANY ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO VIEW A NEWLY COMPLETED SHELTERED HOUSING SCHEME AT BELFAST ROAD, COMBER.![]() | JIM SHANNON MP MLA, SIMON HAMILTON MLA, MICHELLE MCILVEEN MLA, JONATHON BELL MLA AND CLLR MERVYN OSWALD DEPUTY MAYOR (pictured left) WERE SHOWN ROUND THE SCHEME BY TRINITY HOUSING CHIEF EXECUTIVE ARTHUR CANNING. The representatives were very impressed with the scheme and delighted such high quality housing is being provided in the area. |
The scheme will provide 10 two bedroom sheltered apartments. It went on site in 2009 and was completed in July 2010 at a cost of £1,013,286. This scheme has been built to Code 3 Sustainable Homes standard which will result in a reduced carbon footprint for the tenants. The apartments have also achieved Lifetime Homes standard which means that tenants should be able to live there for the rest of their lives in total comfort should they desire!
