Onus award Triangle the Gold Standard

Triangle Housing Association is one of the first employers in Northern Ireland to be awarded the gold standard by ONUS in relation to their best practice approach to tackling the issue of Domestic Violence in the Workplace.Over 30 years ago Triangle was established as a provider of housing to women suffering from domestic abuse. Whilst its purpose and mission has evolved over time, the organisation was keen to get involved with the Charter to demonstrate its continued commitment to this cause as well as a supportive work environment for any employee who discloses that they are experiencing domestic abuse.
 | As part of this commitment, Triangle have worked with ONUS on the development of a workplace policy, training for managers and staff as well as awareness raising initiatives across the workforce. Triangle was officially recognised at the recent launch of the ONUS Workplace Charter on Domestic Violence. Other gold recipients included the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and Newtownabbey Borough Council; there were also a number of other organisations receiving silver and bronze awards. |
