Chris Williamson is NIFHAs Chief Executive. He acts as the organisation's main spokesperson and is able to discuss all matters relating to the Federation's work, the work of all housing associations and housing and homeless policies.

He is also happy to speak more broadly about 'linked' social housing issues - such as poverty, mental health and asylum - and how these issues overlap with housing and homelessness.

He is able to draw upon his extensive social housing and policy experience having worked directly within the sector for more than 30 years.

Finally, Chris is happy to give his professional opinion relating to the broader political context, particularly where it relates to social housing and the voluntary sector. His engagement at a senior level with politicians, decision-makers and opinion-formers gives him considerable insight into these issues.

Chris is an experienced housing professional and has been an active spokesperson and campaigner within the sector for some 30 years. Living close to Belfast City Centre, he is readily available for studio interviews and is happy to be contacted out of normal office hours.
