NIFHA provides a wide range of training, events and seminars for its members throughout the year.

Subjects for training have included Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs), Disability Awareness, the Equality Agenda, Rate Relief & Water Rates, Fair Recruitment and the Procurement Agenda. |

- Data Protection Awareness & Environmental Information Regulations
Thursday 15th January 2009There have been a number of high level breaches of Data Protection. It is important to hear evidence of the extent of these breaches and the remedies available from the Information Commission’ office.
Delegates will be able to revisit the fundamental principles of Data Protection and learn about the Environmental Info Regulations.

This session will give you a chance to understand the benefits of the journey to achieve IIP and the support that is available.
- Discovering Diversity
Thursday 12th February 2009This interactive training session will explore the everyday challenges of change and diversity at work. You will learn about cultural differences and discover the sensitivities you may need to consider when carrying out your work.
Delegates will also have the opportunity address the issues of prejudice and stereotyping and explore their implications.
