A bit about us
We are one of NI’s leading providers of high quality housing and supported housing services and our aim is to make a real difference to the lives of the people living in our homes. We’re a driven, forward-thinking organisation and we’ve ambitious plans for growing and modernising our services. This is an exciting time to help us shape services within our ICT team. We are looking for motivated, flexible and creative individuals to bring passion and commitment to supporting our staff in a dynamic and changing environment.

A bit about the role
Are you committed to helping learners achieve their full potential? We’re looking for an ICT Trainer with a customer-centric approach to champion ICT services. You’ll play a key role in helping to maximise the benefits of our ICT investment. Your normal working days will be Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, but you must be flexible in order to meet customers’ needs including evening work, occasionally when it is necessary.

This is a responsive role – we have schemes across Northern Ireland so you will need a full driving license. Within the small ICT team, you’ll have opportunities to develop your skills working on a range of projects and systems.

The purpose of your role is to work effectively with staff to give them the confidence to ensure benefits from new technologies, systems and business processes are fully realised. You’ll promote ICT security and self-service, supporting our staff in a professional and collaborative manner and you will co-ordinate building ICT capacity for our customers so they are able to access new services and systems as they are implemented.

A bit about you
To flourish in the role, you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a business processing/ICT related field and two years’ experience (within the last 5 years) of providing ICT training and systems support. Candidates without a third level qualification but with 5 years’ experience (within the last 7 years) of providing ICT training and systems support in a relevant business environment should still apply.

With proven ability in the design and delivery of ICT training, you’ll also have experience of working in a project focused environment. You’ll have experience in creating ICT business process documentation and of working with a range of learners.

What you do need, is to be resilient, able to build trust and have a desire to help people do well. Building and maintaining respectful relationships is key.

We’ll be impressed if you have knowledge of the social housing sector in Northern Ireland but don’t worry as long as you have the curiosity to find out, we’ll help you.

Want to apply?
Great; all you need to do is let us know more about what you will bring to the role, your experience and for you to tell us how you live our values. You can do this by downloading an application form from our website: or contact Marie-Therese Merron on the Recruitment Line 028 90876 011. You will find a full job specification for the post on the website too.

In return, we offer a fantastic rewards package from generous annual leave, pension contributions and an award winning work-life balance package which we are happy to tell you about.
