The awards showcase the great work carried out across Northern Ireland to brighten up our towns, villages and communities and Caffrey Hill took first place in the medium sized housing area category.

A Halloween party was held at Caffrey Hill to celebrate this achievement at which a commemorative plaque was presented to tenants.

Clanmil’s Chief Executive, Clare McCarty was delighted that Caffrey Hill had won.

She said;

“Clanmil takes great pride in the way our housing schemes look and we have supported the Best Kept Awards for a number of years.  By taking an active interest in their own gardens, as well as taking pride in keeping the play park tidy, our tenants at Caffrey Hill, young and old, play an important role in making sure their scheme looks as good as it does.

“Caffrey Hill is a brand new housing scheme and this award is welcome recognition of how hard Clanmil Housing staff and everyone living at Caffrey Hill is working to make it such a great place to live.“

In addition, T&A Kernoghan and Collen Construction, Clanmil’s contractors at Caffrey Hill, recently won the social housing category of the Construction Employers Federation annual Construction Excellence Awards for the Caffrey Hill development.  This award is in recognition of the high build quality of the homes at the scheme.
