Mark Graham appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Co-Ownership Housing
Mark Graham has been appointed chief executive officer of Co-Ownership Housing, Northern Ireland’s primary provider of shared ownership.
Mark will be responsible for guiding the organisation through a review period to better meet the needs of its customers and to introduce new affordable housing products designed to increase the supply of affordable housing in Northern Ireland.
“Mark has a very strategic understanding of housing in Northern Ireland,” said Sid McDowell, chair, Co-Ownership Housing. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Co-Ownership with a proven track record in managing change. Mark also has a very clear vision for Co-Ownership Housing and understands the needs of our multiple stakeholders. This is invaluable for Co-Ownership Housing as we embrace the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
“I am delighted to have been appointed chief executive officer at Co-Ownership Housing,” said Mark Graham. “This is a time of change not only for the organisation but in government and in the housing sector. I believe that collaboration is needed within the housing sector and at government level to address the lack of housing supply in NI across all tenures. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and the future role Co-Ownership will play in helping to create sustainable communities across Northern Ireland.”
Mark joined Co-Ownership Housing in 2015 as Executive Director of Property and Development. Previous to this, he spent 30 years at the Housing Executive in a number of high profile roles where he oversaw a change management programme that resulted in the organisation receiving a UK Excellence Award, one of the highest honours any organisation can achieve for demonstrating excellence across its business.
