Housing associations have been invited to attend the European Network of Housing Research Conference, which is being hosted for the first time in Northern Ireland.
The conference, which is being held in Assembly Buildings, runs from 28 June – 1 July. The main theme of the conference is ‘Governance, Territory and Housing’.
NIFHA’s Deputy Chief Executive Jennie Donald will be a keynote speakER at the event during the opening session on Wednesday 29 June and a number of NIFHA members are event partners, including Clanmil, Connswater, Fold and Co-Ownership.
Paddy Gray, who is organising the event, commented: “The hundreds of housing researchers who are coming to Belfast from all over Europe will see the so called ‘peace walls’ but will also find a city transformed.
“They will also visit Derry and Armagh, cities steeped in history, to see how areas affected by ‘The Troubles’ have now been regenerated.”
